"Unfortunately I booked through the Hotels.com app and I paid more than the basic thistle express room thinking I was getting a bigger bed. Turns out I had the basic single room. As usual. The staff are brilliant. The bed is comfortable. And the rooms are spotless. It won’t stop me staying again. In fact I’ve already booked for Christmas week. "

"Breakfast was good.Fresh natural juices,hit drinks, fruits and yougurts, croissants,etc.Didn't like the quality of sausages, no boiled eggs only scrambled.Also sausages and bacon are dry."

"Receptionists customer service was 100 percent from the moment I walked through the door. She even gave me a really early checkin for free. Explained everything and was so kind. When we arrived back to our room late evening our tv didnt work and the same Receptionist changed our room immediately. Building was really cool, train station out side the door and ony 3.60 to get into the centre of Cambridge. Beds were really comfortable and I woukd definitely recommend staying here to save money as the centre of Cambridge is often really expensive. "

"The stay was nice, staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was really nice and a lot of choice. Location is good for the train, war museum also a 10 minute drive into cambridge or just hop onto the train which is easier."
