Perfect location for a night before heading to London. Lovely surroundings. Shower was amazing although no shower gel or hair products so we had to order some on deliveroo. However, pillows very hard and uncomfortable, £5 for parking which was odd and not advertised. They also took £50 deposit which was not advertised or told to us on check in.
A unique location, very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. A few miles away from Cambridge city centre and a 10 minute's drive from Duxford airfield.
I would have expected shampoo/shower gel though, but there's a Sainsbury's around the corner. Sadly, a breakfast option at the premises is not offered, but can be done at Coton Orchards not far away.
Two great gastro-pubs nearby for dining.
Very friendly staff, will definitely consider to return.
Room spacious and clean. Lovely grounds. Staff lovely. Just a blocked shower drain and a fold up bed put in when it wasn't asked for take away a star but apart from that enjoyed our stay. Great mattress. :)
For what it was, and they were entirely open about the lack of dining options, it was a delightful stay. Rooms were compact but clean, gardens were lovely and there was an exceptionally well signposted footpath led to the local pub. The pool was quaint, basic but quite pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location to the park and ride meant it was extremely easy to get into Central Cambridge.

Oh, there are so many things to like about this place. The gardens. The large room -- we were in the Master. The grounds. The reception. The Blair Witch Project walk back from the Plough in the total dark.
However.
The wifi was essentially non-functional. There was nothing resembling hot water. And there was one tiny sliver of soap. No shampoo. No other cleaning elements that one might normally see in hotels. So it's all extremely confusing, as if there needs to be far more attention to the (somewhat basic) details.
Excellent stay! Loved the lady at reception who was super friendly and helpful! She def was the main heart of the place doing so much :)
Fantastic room! Fab pool! Great stay would definitely stay again! X
Great friendly staff to welcome you in, the business room was on the snug side with the alcoves, but still a comfy room!
I did expect shower gel in the Bathroom but their is a Sainsbury’s a few minutes away to get supplies if you didn’t bring any.
Would definitely stay here again, but maybe with a different room / floor as there was quite a few beers on the staircase (reception lady was very helpful with trying to get these moved on)
Visited this hotel 5-6 times. I like the quiet room and comfortable beds. Only the last experience was bad...bed sheet and pillow cases not changed, smells stinky and feel itchy, not sure it's dirt or bed bugs.
Beautiful grounds and building. We stayed in the chalet and room was good. Parking and use of the pool should really be included in the price in my opinion. Beer from the fridge was not cold at all.
Location good for getting into Cambridge though and would consider staying again
This was a perfectly adequate room. We slept well. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The vending machine left something to be desired. The property is beautiful and peaceful.
Fantastic.
Spacious, quiet, everything is there except for breakfast or food. I would recommend 100% there must be an option for food but I didn’t see this time. I stayed in the heatwave, very warm in the room but there was a fan. I loved the nature around there and the path way from the gate to the building. So pretty
Lovely house with good standard of cleanliness. There were no problem with parking.
Very disappointed that there was no restaurant for breakfast as stated when booked. As reception only opened at 4pm there was nobody to help with room issue. There was a tel number provided to call for assistance but no one answered.
Shame as nice place to stay.
