Secluded home surrounded by national parks, featuring luxurious spa and sauna

10/10 Excellent
"This accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We booked for three nights and immediately wished we had stayed longer. The house was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s a spacious three-bedroom home with a huge sunroom, and stepping outside reveals the most stunning countryside views. There were plenty of board games and books, reliable Wi-Fi, as well as fantastic amenities including a spa, sauna, and pool table. Horses and sheep roam the property, and the kids looked forward to spending time with the animals each day. While there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, we would have been perfectly happy simply enjoying the facilities and the peaceful, beautiful setting. We also managed to fit in a few nature hikes to nearby waterfalls. To top it all off, the hosts were some of the nicest people you could ever meet."

When is the best time to go to The Gulf?
The best time to visit The Gulf is during the dry season, which runs from May to October, as this period offers the most pleasant weather for exploring the region.During these months, you'll experience clear skies, lower humidity, and more moderate temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, and exploring the national parks. The water visibility for diving and snorkelling is also typically at its best. This is particularly appealing for couples looking for a comfortable and active holiday. The wet season, from November to April, brings higher temperatures, humidity, and the possibility of heavy rainfall and tropical cyclones. While the landscape becomes lush and green, some roads and attractions may be inaccessible, and marine stingers are more prevalent in coastal waters, requiring protective swimwear for ocean activities. However, this period can offer a great experience for those interested in birdwatching, as migratory birds are abundant, and the waterfalls are at their most impressive.Ultimately, for a stress-free and activity-filled trip, the dry season is the superior choice.
