"This is an excellent hotel for those who enjoy water views, with many rooms facing the river and having an outdoor seating area. Small minus for suite 001 not having shelves in the shower...when you pay premium, everything should be premium. "

"The location was great as it sat on a cliff of the Columbia River. The grounds were impeccable with beautiful flowers and trees. They had Adirondack chairs on the cliff so you could enjoy the view. It was fun watching kite surfers in the river. We didn’t realize Hood River is known as pthe top kite surfing capitol of the world. The bed was very comfortable. The buildings are older but well kept up. Wonderful stay. "

"While the hotel is under construction, I was relieved that my room was in perfect condition. It was very comfortable and I would absolutely stay again if I were to pass through again. "

"This is a very quiet, nice property. The parking is well lit. Everything was clean and there was plenty of seating for breakfast, which isn't always the case. The street in front is under construction so you have to pay attention to find your way in. I would definitely stay here again."

"We have stayed at quite a few motels during our Canadian/US roadtrip and this motel is right up there as one of our favourites. The rooms were clean and tidy, after a long days drive we were happy to order a freshly made pizza with some cool drinks and sit on the patio and enjoy the view over the river. A really special little gem."
