Stayed last night omg we love it here! Fab atmosphere....the room The Drawing Room was gorgeous and quirky. Food fabulous. Staff awesome. Location perfect. Revolution were great....the vibe was amazing. We are definitely coming back xxxxx

We stayed for a night in the attic room which was spacious and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely stay for us. Music could be heard till about midnight but that is what we had gone for, so no problem!

The staff were fantastic and due to the malthouse having to temp close we were put up in the penthouse which was fine. However the other room needed a good dust. However staff were fantastic

Beautiful location
Very popular, food choices limited but good, great breakfast. Accommodation comfortable, great location. We stayed on a Friday when there was live entertainment which was fantastic. Would definitely return

V.noisy, doors don’t lock and bathroom across hall
Staff were lovely, HOWEVER, Hotel is located in a separate building to the pub photographed. Dark and dingy carpeted stairwell. Absolutely no sound proofing woken up repeatedly by people passing through the several doors that slammed. No fire doors anywhere. Extra surprise to find ‘private bathroom’ is located across the hall, passing by another guests room- not clear on hotels.com at all. And finally, the bathroom door didn’t lock!!! Hotel wasn’t cheap either.

Very good over all
In general the hotel was good, our room smelled a little damp, and the toilet was dirty, but other than that we couldn’t fault it. The restaurant food at night and breakfast were both excellent.

We did not stay. Rooms were nothing like the photos, it was cold and damp an i demanded a refund to which they told me to contact you. They showed us the freezing damp room with damadged bath tub. We refused to stay an left immediately. I want a full refund asap please

Ok for a short stay
Stay was pleasant enough. The room wasn’t the cleanest with hairs on the floor, cobwebs around lights and had to evict several spiders. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

The Malthouse, would recommend.
Lovely stay at the Malthouse. Excellent value for money. Suite for the price of a room. Friendly staff. Nice pub and food. Unrivaled location. Parking onsite not guaranteed. But there was room in the small staff area for us. Paid parking nearby. Birthplace of the industrial revolution and the world famous iron bridge within minuts walk. Plenty of museums and pubs in the local area. Pretty valley and river severn.

Comfortable but not 3 star
It was ok, my fault but when you read room with private bathroom don't expect it too be acriss the hall, we were in the annexe which is a little tired and could do with some tlc, staff on arrival were good. Whilst i get co-vid is causing issues waitong 1 hour at breakfast for a simple roll that came with an ingredient missing and not even getting a drink you ordered is not very good.

Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff. Our stay at the Malthouse was excellent. The breakfast was huge and I would recommend eating here of an evening too as the evening menu is also excellent

We were checked into the wrong room on arrival and had to move all our luggage into another building 2 hours later. My credit card was charged on arrival and another payment has been taken since then. I am still awaiting confirmation from Hotels.com that this will be refunded. The rooms were not in a clean condition (mould growing in the shower cubicle and a big hole in the bedroom carpet). The tacky decor looked like a knocking shop in Hamburg

We stayed here for a nearby wedding so chose it for convenience. The room was in a building next to the pub. On a Friday and Saturday night, you can still hear the music from the pub quite late into the night. The room itself was fine. Clean and comfortable, if garishly decorated. Good breakfast.
