"We enjoyed our stay. Communication was clear and friendly. Self-check in was easy. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The location is lovely, with it backing onto the quiet park, which you can also access through a locked gate."

"Was a lovely little escape. Sitting by the fire pit in the evening was definitely a highlight. Lovely touches throughout, fresh flowers and plants, range of tea/coffees (eg. had chocolate and chai available), products in shower. The main downside of accomodation was the water pressure throughout, unimpressive shower and very limited toilet flushing (wonder if cassette toilet would be fine if water pressure was better).Enjoyed a relaxing stay and enjoyed exploring the area (highly recommend Tooronga falls walk)."

"WGippsland Gem Accessible AccommodationAs a disabled person, I was very impressed with my recent stay at Gippsland Gem located in Yallourn North, Victoria. This is because it’s very hard to find accessible accommodation where the advert description actually matches the disabled amenities when you turn up. This stunning 4 bedroom rural property has been designed to cater for both regular families and guests, and for those who like me, are disabled. The house is very spacious with room for everyone, in fact it even has a separate self-contained unit with bathroom and kitchenette for the disabled guest’s carer, if not a member of the family staying in the main house.The bathroom has been planned out well for a disables guest with a spacious walk-in shower and all the usual safety handles and equipment saving you bringing your own, such as a shower chair for example. In the accessible bedroom, the bed is the Hi-Lo type of adjustable home care bed, similar to my own at home, plus for those who require a freestanding hoist with sling, this is also available.The property has great access inside and out – including the viewing deck – with all floors on the level and ramps outside where applicable. I can certainly recommend that the set up at Gippsland Gem is wheelchair friendly. The property in set in a peaceful location with stunning views in every direction, yet only a 7minute drive into the main centres of Moe and Traralgon is 15-20minutes drive shopping and restaurants."

"The accommodations were exceptionally clean and quite spacious. The surrounding scenery was beautiful, and the farm animals were remarkably friendly. The spa and fireplace were particularly cozy and enjoyable. Sam was very helpful and readily available for contact. We extend our sincere gratitude for your hospitality and the thoughtful welcome pack."

"A quaint little cottage easy walking to everything. The cottage was very cosy. We had a lovely stay. We definitely enjoyed the electric blankets and the extra heaters. Everyone in Walhalla were extremely friendly and made us so welcome. A huge thanks to Astrid, Richard and their team for making our visit to our great grand parents home town so memorable. We just loved it"

"This was a wonderful stay! The cottage was cute, had all the amenities and the host was responsive with communication.It was warm, we loved the wood fired heater, and we were provided with breakfast supplies and other great additions. We could even watch Netflix after a tiring day on Mt Baw Baw.Thanks a million!"

"This is a historic property in beautiful Walhalla. Host Larry is lovley, responds quickly with information and to enquiries. The house is situated on a steep embankment with the driveway coming two thirds to the house. Guests must walk uncovered outside steps leading to the house to enter. This information would be better disclosed in the information provided about the property first up. Anyone with mobility issues may not be able to access the house. Carrying suitases and heavy luggage up the steps in the rain is not ideal! The second 'bedroom' is 'divided' by a cloth divider - and this room is the walkthrough from kitchen to the loungeroom. Great kitchen with all you could need and very cosy with the fire in wintry conditions. Truly an experience."
