"This was my 5th stay in the last 12 months. The property itself is ok (a little old and tired) but the staff is wonderful. This is especially true of the housekeeping and the concierge/porter. My man, Alex, at the concierge deserves a special mention. He is always cheerful, friendly and helpful. The location is great as well. Restaurants, convenience stores within short distances. Subway, train stations and buses so close. But I will always return because of their people."
"Loved my stay here, facility’s were very good.
My only complaint…. Bus stop out the front one way which is great, if coming from the other way can be a bit scary crossing the road at times.
It is on mid level so need to be relatively fit for the thousands of stairs if you choose to walk…. Not far from the up escalator…. Just not one to go down."
"We loved our room and stay!! Would definitely recommend getting access to executive club, second to none and food suburb!! Probably the only negative and a small one was no turn down service which you would expect of a hotel of this calibre. "
"This hotel is a step above everything else in terms of comfort, luxury, quality, service, ambiance, elegance and variety of dinning options. It tops my other prime choices: Four Seasons at Peninsula Papagayo (CR), Armani (Dubai) and Alvear Palace (Buenos Aires). The best of the best."
"Sheung Wan is a good neighborhood to be based in for a visit to Hong Kong. There are plenty of lively restaurants within walking distance. Transportation is easy to downtown and the ferries. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is excellent and reasonably priced. "
