Many areas seem in need of an update, especially the bathrooms. Mine was small, with a very low ceiling and it was impossible to shower without getting the whole floor dangerously wet (inadequate shower screen). Staff did their best and seemed a little “gun shy” expecting customers to be rude/entitled (in fairness many were). Got the wrong coffee from the barista 2/3 mornings. Area is growing rapidly and it’s only a very short walk to many good restaurants and the train/bus links to the rest of Sydney.

Excellent service by staff. They were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Novotel Hotels are always good, this one in Parramatta we got at the last minute and for the price I think is one the best

Below average experience
Check-in was not smooth, the fob did not work and I had to come down again to get access to the room. Another guest told me they had the same experience. Room service interrupted my sleep. Room was cramped and poor quality, the shower gel in the shower was empty and not re filled. The towels smelled like Asian food, didn’t use them, they were not fresh. Room was dusty. Overall, poor quality for the price. Unexpected.

Nice and convenient
I like the hotels location and convenience to near by restaurants and Westfield. It is outdated. However it’s clean and tidy & rooms are clean. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and housekeeping did up the sofa bed every day for my daughter. I wish parking was cheaper, I’ve been staying at this hotel for 10 years and parking keeps increasing and there should be a discount for guests.

So disappointing that the pool was closed during our stay and we were not notified when booking. We had booked this place specifically for 2 reasons, one of which being the pool. Kids were very upset as we had promised swimming.

For some reason my booking of a twin room on wotif didn't go through to the hotel correctly and i was allocated a king room. Unfortunately there we no more twins available but the Manager on duty quickly solved the problem with a portable bed and a discount on the rate. I was really impressed with the young managers friendliness and service. We have stayed at the Novatel a few times on think its great

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely, and bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking onsite. Room was a little noisy and we could hear noise from the street. Overall, and nice motel. Would definitely recommend.

My 8 hour meeting was right opposite this hotel. I was allowed to park the car for the night and day for a flat rate of $35. Very handy indeed

Friendly helpful staff - I'd forgotten to bring my phone charger and they very kindly lent me one during my stay. The breakfast offerings were very generous and catered for any needs. As an older person, I found the shower placed over the bath difficult. The other difficulty was the very noisy air conditioning in my room which I was unable to adjust.

We love this hotel.
We love staying at Novotel Parramatta. I’m a regular customer there since 2011. Every time I stay there you can tell there is a significant improvement. The location is amazing, the staff are so friendly. Highly recommended.

The room we booked in we had to move because of wet carpet outside the bathroom, the room they moved us to had bathroom sink not draining water and then they upgraded us to a suite.

Staff were absolutely lovely, reception and breakfast staff inclusive! Room was great and clean. Gym could use some work (very limited weights) and lobby could use some renovation. The people really make this hotel!!
