Nice staff, my room was large, with a comfortable king size bed and I appreciated windows on the rear street. Other room furnishings were worn, stained and chair was unstable.

The property was convenient and close to the train station as well as shops and restaurants nearby. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I have stayed here once before a few years back and it was quite nice, booked it again for one night as I needed to be in Sydney for work. The hotel is now run down and not up to standard. I would not stay there again. The staff were friendly however my room was really old, smelled bad, air con wasn’t working properly which was horrible given that it was 35 degrees in Sydney that day.

The staff were very helpful. Especially since the hotel does not have an elevator. Staff carried large suitcase up and down for me. Room faced a main street which had late night traffic. Room A/C did not work correctly.

Very nice little room we had, and the staff was polite and helpful. Renovations were going on but there only was some paint smell on the corridor. No lift is available but I didn't find that an issue

No elevator, only stairs, room was dirty with stains on the bed and lounge, only realised stains inside bed when about to go to sleep, no response from calling reception and after hours number multiple times. Had to go down in the middle of the night to find someone and then only solution was for us to move ourselves to a smaller room (had paid for executive room). The smaller “spare” room then smelt like mildew/mould. Will not be staying here again, based on quality of rooms generally hotel should be 3 stars not 4.

Pros - Bed was amazing, room was clean and well presented, hotel was well maintained. Cons - Airport transfer was priced different to their website $25 one way, staff was rude, room was small, shower was average. Overall my stay was fine but for the price of $500 for 2 nights I would have expected more.

I was placed in a room lookibg at brick wall for 2days fair enough l night but 2 l was upgraded into a street view apartment before by a lovely female receptionist but the male one on this occassion wouldnt put me in a street view room and there was plenty of them empty.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in. The bathroom basin didn’t drain, the carpets were dirty, and all of the furniture was in poor condition. No staff at checkout, left my room card with a cleaner. I could hear full conversations from the guests in the room above me. Terrible quality for the price.

Love the location as am familiar with it. Like the hotel although this time the air conditioner in my room wasn't working. Thankfully I could open the windows and with the help of ear plugs,, slept well despite the traffic.

We booked a room for one of our staff. He had a terrible first night in your hotel because of the noise every 45 minutes. He could not turn the Air con off or down.

This boutique Hotel is the best around town. I have stayed here several times over the years and has never disappointed. I highly recommend to stay here at the Kirkton hotel i ll be defintely be booking here again. Also recommend their Cafe Jamie's Cafe was a great place to eat.

My plane was delayed and so I arrived after reception closed incurring a fee of $30 to still check in. The place has a comfortable bed and it’s clean. To be honest that’s all I care about.

Disappointing
The location was great close to train station however the hotel did not have an elevator or lift to our room floor. We had the executive room . We had to drag our suitcases all 6 of them to the first floor about 20 steps. The first desk person assisted with two of them but when leaving no one was at first desk to help. The front desk does not have employee there full time . Only from 8am- 11pm. So if you have emergency not good. I don’t understand how you can have a public building without an elevator or some kind of lift . The room closet had a hole in the wall and the hot / cold water can burn you if not adjusted just right before getting into shower. I could hear the people above me as they walked around all night long the floors creaking with every step. Hard time getting to sleep due to the floors not sound proof. Over all we were very disappointed with our stay. The good side the Uber driver showed up on time and was very reasonably price for ride to to airport . The bed was comfortable.

The pŕoperty was adequate, no on site dining after 14:30, no phone to contact reception, the room we were in had a chip out of the bathroom sink and no plug for the sink.
