"Our check in was quick and we were able to access our room early. That was the best part of our stay. The headboard of the bed was dirty. It felt like it needed vacuuming. The air conditioner vents were dirty and the pillows were horrible and the bed was uncomfortable. We didn’t enjoy our stay and I wouldn’t recommend."

"The room was small but clean; the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small. The shower which took up more than half of it, was merely surrounded by a shower curtain so the entire floor gets wet. You can't dress in there after a shower. There is a shuttle service you can sign up for and catch next door for $12/person. You can walk but it's a 15 minute walk with luggage. It's convenient enough and a reasonably priced stay for a night"

"I recently stayed at Ibis Darling Harbour and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience overall. The hotel is in quite poor condition—carpets are ripped in places, and both the rooms and bathrooms feel very worn and in need of maintenance and renovation. Service was also disappointing for the most part, as some staff members came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. However, I do want to acknowledge one staff member—a young woman at reception—who kindly assisted us in changing rooms. She was professional, approachable, and made an effort to improve our stay, which we really appreciated. That said, the general condition of the hotel and the inconsistent service made the stay far below expectations. I hope management takes steps to improve both the facilities and customer experience."
