"Overall, the hotel is quite nice. Unfortunately, it’s challenging to contact the front desk from the rooms and we had to request three times to get a second set of towels for the two of us. The air conditioning wasn’t turned on so the room was quite stuffy as the windows do not open. The location was superb, the staff friendly, and the room was comfortable. Overall, a nice experience."

"Hotel was great— cannot comment on breakfast. Since breakfast wasn’t included! and rather pricey at an additional $30, we strolled downtown and enjoyed delicious fresh pastries at a little bakery we found there. Cherry almond croissant and hot chocolate for me, a huge sausage roll for my husband at less than half the price. We prefer breakfast to be included when we stay in hotels."

"Lovely brek and receptionist. Once moved chairs around in the room, it felt much nicer and more spacious. Perfect location. Working out room service was tricky. Tip - turn on tv , rather than scanning the at code for the digital hotel guide?!"

"Very good hotel, well located near the town centre. The room was good, spacious and dog friendly. Hotel staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed our weekend stay. We will definitely be back."
The White Swan Hotel

"Really enjoyed our stay at The White Swan - we had a beautiful room, very comfy bed, a walk-in dresser area and a lovely bathroom that was very tidy and had been modernised in a way that still felt in-keeping with the age of the room itself. Breakfast was lovely, with a small area to help yourself to juice, toast, pastries, fruit and yoghurt, and then hot breakfasts and hot drinks on order. A really pleasant set-up, and the breakfast staff were really helpful and friendly. The staff in the hotel were well presented and really pleasant at all times, which made such a difference to our stay. The pub restaurant downstairs is nice and cozy, and isn’t too rowdy or noisy once you’re back in your room. We didn’t eat here on either of our evenings but in future we will. It’s also really well located, just a short walk to restaurants and shops, Shakespeare’s House, the river and the theatres. There was also a nice little market right over the road for the first two days of our stay, which was really nice. Really recommend!"

"Lovely hotel, staff were friendly, bar was well stocked, overall nice stay. Only didn’t give 5 stars as it doesn’t have parking and they took an additional £30 hold on my card which is standard but they’ve still not yet paid it back to me."

"Lovely convenient hotel. Super location and easy to get to the main part of Stratford. The hotel is clean and has ample parking at the rear. The room too was clean. But is literally a bed. A couple more things would have made our stay more comfortable. Such as more than one pillow each, a mirror in the room would be good also just a bin. There are no hair dryers or iron in the room. On whole a good hotel for a short stay."
