"We loved staying in this house. It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the house as a base for Alton Towers which was a 25 minute drive away. We was left a welcome pack of goodies which was very much appreciated, and noticed the little touches like travel cots and high chairs, and a play room at the back of the house so perfect for families. There was room on the drive for 2 cars. We had a little issue when we was there and I was able to call the owner right...

"We enjoyed our short stay (2 nights) at Malthouse Farm Cottage. The owners were helpful and friendly, the location is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there is an excellent pub a short distance away. However, the description of "Open Plan" Studio by Alton Towers is totally misleading and without SATNAT we would not have found the property. Even the next door neighbours (when we stopped to ask) did not recognise the property by that name.. I suggest you review how you list this...

"We stayed in a different property to the one listed as this one had works being done to it but thankfully Lia the host managed to get us an alternative property so the weekend wasn’t totally inconvenienced. We had a good stay and it was quiet with no hassle from anyone local. Would recommend Lia and co. As really catered for us at a short notice"

"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"We booked an d it said 3 bathroomswhat they didnt say is there is only 1 toilet for 6 usually 3 bathrooms include toilets.just down the road a crack head was getting arrested.no ironi g board some one snuck i. "This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."
