"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. "Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"It was extremely disappointing to discover that the photos on the website did not reflect the reality of the property. Upon arrival, the house looked nothing like what was advertised. I had booked a room for two people, but the space was far too small to comfortably accommodate us. On top of that, the entire house was unclean, which made the stay even more unpleasant. "The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. I could not switch it off, and it was extremely embarrassing early on a Sunday morning. Staff nice, parking good, but a disappointing stay due to the lack of hot water. "

"The accommodation stayed in was not as advertised, we hoped it would have been a place that was suitable for a night, but it just created worry and discomfort the entire time staying there. The first room we were presented with was not at all as expected, the walls were stained with marks and water stains. The bathroom was dirty and unacceptable. The bed covers and curtains were stained and window sill covered in mould. Having asthma I was not comfortable staying in this room. I rang to reception and requested another room and told them it wasn’t at all how it was advertised, which the receptionist didn’t understand why. They provided us with a second room which was larger and slightly better than the first but still not good enough. Stained walls, mouldy curtains and window cills. However due to being exhausted from travels, we decided to just try and sleep for the long day ahead the next day. Both myself and partner were unable to get any sleep as the bed was terribly uncomfortable, we could feel the spring badly through the mattress. I have attached some images for you to see for yourself. This is completely unacceptable even with it being a cheap stay. The images need reviewing and updated on your site as the public should know what their money is buying them. We complained to hotels.com and they were very unhelpful. The hotel told them it was all fine so wouldn’t help us. Not impressed. Do not say here or book through hotels.com. Not even worth it for a night."
