"Kids really loved the 6-pod room. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and had a really nice breakfast. We stayed in 6 hotels during 3 weeks in England, France, and Germany and this was the best one."
"The room was very hot and the hotel has no air conditioning (customers should be informed of the lack of air conditioning). Keeping the window open is impossible as the room is on a very noisy street (the hotel offers ear plugs!). The entrance code wasn’t always working and the main entrance of the hotel was very hard to open. Overall, not a great experience. "
"Clean, spacious room in a walkable range from the central attractions. Friendly staff. HORRIBLE traffic due to major construction work nearby but the hotel itself was excellent"

10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff. Very close to the train station."
"We opted to stay in a larger room at this hotel since our trip was more than a couple nights and most of the rooms are smaller. We absolutely adored the room and the hotel itself. The details are so charming and the spaces (public and private) are very comfortable. Staff were usually readily available and were always helpful and pleasant.
Even if we had booked a smaller room, the common spaces at the hotel are lovely, welcoming, and comfortable. With plenty of seating indoors, games and books for adults and kids, and a charming beer garden, you can easily relax and enjoy time in the public spaces of this hotel.
Overall, we adored the Cocoon and would absolutely return!"
"Our stay at Arthotel Munich was fantastic and made for a great home base during our family trip to Munich. Traveling with two teenagers, we needed a place that was comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly — and this hotel checked all the boxes.
The location is ideal — just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof (central train station), making it easy to explore the city and take day trips. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel was quiet and relaxing.
Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the bathroom was modern, and we had plenty of space to unwind after a long day. The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi, which was on the slower side — not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you rely heavily on streaming or remote work.
Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay — generous, fresh, and with lots of variety. From hot dishes to fruit and yogurt, there was something for everyone, and it really got our mornings off to a good start.
All in all, Arthotel Munich was a wonderful choice for our family. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the location couldn’t have been better. We’d happily stay here again on our next visit to Munich!"
"This is an excellent hotel in a wonderful location. I fought with the shower head every morning, as it was determined to spray water to the side of the shower cubicle despite my best efforts, but that was the charm of the bathroom. I will always remember its personality. The coffee in the room was a little ordinary. But the buffet breakfast and the ability to use a machine to get double shots made up for the pathetic instant coffee in the room and insufficient milk portions. All up, a nice stylish, reasonably affordable hotel. I recommend it for these reasons. "
