"Perfect location and host! We loved this property located right downtown on Ali'i Drive. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. The Farmers Market was great. Our host was super easy to reach and gave us wonderful recommendations on places to go. The condo has beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and even towels making our beach trips easy! The balcony has a great view of the water."

"The unit was beautiful. Clean. And host was responsive and helpful. Great value for the price. Beautiful view. Centrally located in Kona. Parking easy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen looked brand new! Having both bathrooms on the first floor was a minor inconvenience. We utilized the air mattress and kids loved it! Having the binoculars and telescope was a bonus as we traveled to Mauna Kea. The building is a bit run down- has a motel feel. The upside is the location and proximity to all restaurants and shops in Kona. The lanai with the sound of the waves crashing was AMAZING! Would have been nice to have the unit cooled prior to our arrival. The shades were down and ac off when we arrived. We had to cool the place down for a couple hours before we could stay there. Once we did that it was great. The 2 ac units cooled the place nicely. Be careful to remember the elevator key when you leave! We forgot one night and got locked out. We pushed open the doors to the elevator. Makes you wonder how secure the building is? Either way we loved the penthouse and Brett and Diane were wonderful hosts!!"

"Very nice place to stay in the heart of Kona. We have 3 children. There was plenty of room for all of us for the 2 weeks we were there. There is a separate bed/bath where we could have privacy from our children if needed. Great views from ocean side to mountain side. Love watching the sunset from the balcony. The host was super kind and so friendly. If you have a family or just yourself, this is a great place to stay with plenty of room and a full kitchen. Thank you again for being a great host."

"Great location! Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Very nice unit overlooking the swimming pool. Unit had everything we needed (and fun extras like ice chest, folding beach chairs, snorkeling equipment) for a relaxing stay in Kona."
