"I often stay in other hotels in Melb with a much higher rate. . This gem surpassed so many I’ve stayed in before. Location is so convenient as is getting into and out from the hotel with transport. Parking was great and my bigger vehicle had plenty of space.
Room spacious and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff.
Will be back
Nothing to fault "
"The room was quite hot and stuffy overnight, despite having the cooling on. It made it difficult to sleep. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which added to the heat. The female toilets in the restaurant were very basic and hadn't been swept properly or walls cleaned for some time. I rate it as "ok" overall as the location was central to where we wanted to go. I doubt I would stay there again. "
"The bed was not comfortable. Very noisy at night . Housekeeping at 7.30 next to my bedroom. No towels. Location and staff good . Next to a construction side"
"Staff were brilliant, kind and informative. Pool was huge and had an abundance of clean towels. The spa was a little dirty but what can you expect with hot bodies in hot water.
Room was fantastic and clean and the views were beautiful. "
"Excellent location but not up to a Novotel standard…only one lift for over 300 rooms.
A nightmare especially as the only working one broke down with myself, my granddaughter and other people in it albeit for a very short time…used fire escape and ended up in some back lane…had to ask directions to get back to the front of the hotel…told reception staff but just seemed fed up with the situation…really long walk from room to lift…door cards were cancelled a day early…overcharged for breakfasts..awaiting refund…there seemed to be no management in the restaurant.
Staff tried their best and were very polite but disorganised…lack of cleanliness around the breakfast area.spilt food, coffee juice…no plates for toast, missing bacon or beans etc…although choice was good..enjoyed a well cooked evening meal…
I have used many Novotel especially at Auckland airport…always excellent but this one in Melbourne needs much attention… sorry but will not use again or recommend and think twice about using the brand…"
"10/10 You will have a FAB STAY HERE if you decide to choose this place! It is super modern and great location ! Rooms are very crisp & clean ! Lovely space in the lobby with great vibes. Can sit down there & have a drink with a friend or solo, or do some work on your laptop, having such friendly staff there also helps ! They really are so kind and approachable, always happy to help ! You really can’t go wrong, the only thing I’d say to be aware of is if you need housekeeping to do towels/bins , all good but they can miss your room, so just give reception a call by 16;00 if they haven’t done it, they missed mine 2 of the days even though I had the correct sign on the door. The one time I got lucky calling reception and they came to finish it, but the other day they’d already gone home. But everything there in general is just amazing, its exactly like the pictures. A great mix of every age group, solo & group travellers. You can walk everywhere if you need to but there is public transport close by if you prefer !
Can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely stay here again ! :)"
