"The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens"
"Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there.
Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor person being sick "

"A very nice, large complex with lots to do for kids and adults. We used it as a base to explore the rest of Cornwall. It is clean and had a kitchen, if you want to do your own cooking."
"Great welcome. Staff very helpful and friendly throughout every aspect of the hotel, museum, shops, bar and restaurant.
Room (21) extremely clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. "
"We often come to this venue for our wedding anniversary as we did again on this occasion and as usual the everything, food, service, hospitality, the grounds exceptional that’s why we come here. This time we even had a surprise sat on our bed in the form of a card and miniature bottle gin to welcome us

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Grosvenor. I appreciated its history and the two lounges had comfy seating. It was a few minutes walk away from The Hoe where I enjoyed strolling and sitting on the benches looking out onto the water.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I loved the deep bath. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark for sleeping.
Breakfast was delicious with many options. I highly recommend this hotel."
"We had a wonderful stay – the room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful complimentary toiletries provided. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and overall the service made our visit to Portsmouth really enjoyable. Would happily stay again!"
