"This is a wonderful, grand, historic building and retains the ambience of Victorian grandeur, even though there are a few scuffs and scrapes and rusted ironwork!. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and this was the case with all staff that we encountered including the breakfast staff. The room was beautifully decorated and fitted and was very comfortable with all amenities that you could want. Lots of sockets by the bed as well. Our room benefitted from a superb sea view. The breakfast was very good, though veggie/vegan sausages would have been a welcome addition. For the price we paid, this hotel was an absolute bargain and we would love to return here again. Perfect location for anyone visiting Plymouth."

"Towels had small marks on. And confusion at breakfast as to where you could sit as tables weren't cleared quick enough but gentleman showing folk in said "sit anywhere."which was clearly not the case"
