Great place in a middle of the Old Town. We got a well renowned and furnished room on the second floor. Bed was big and very comfortable. Bathroom was relatively small but without claustrophobic. Like all; including perfect communication with the manager/owner. The place doesn’t serve breakfast but next to the apartment there are lots of restaurants.

Property was nice and clean and in great location Only downside there is a terrible smell as you enter the building and it appears the side street the property is on is where everyone congregates and parties at night . Once in the room the smell does disappear and the noise stops at about 1.30 , if you close the bathroom door , noise not so bad .

We stayed for two nights. It was a very tough place to find. The smell and dirty stairs was appalling. Very many stairs to room. No soap to wash with, no shampoo and proper toiletries as our bags were lost at airport. No view or balcony as shown in photos. Horrible linens, two twin sheets to cover with. I do not recommend this place.

Le premier is located in strict city center - Palace, and we provide detailed instructions how to get to us before arrival. You have booked a Deluxe Double Room that has no access to private terrace that is adjoint and private to Deluxe Double Room with Terrace and jacuzzi, that is very clear in all of our ads.

So, there is pros and cons for this property considering the price point. It was not a super expensive stay but at the same time not cheap. Pros- great location, nice spacious room with modern and up to date amenities, clean, perfect AC for the size of the room plus the room was beautiful in general. I have no doubt the man on the other side of the phone would have helped us with anything, but anything we wanted was not things we wanted to worry about. Cons - an awful smell in the hall way that kept on getting worse over our three days. The water heater kept on running out after one shower which was quite frustrating, needless to say my wife had warm showers and I had cold ones. Our sheets were kind of a strange duvet cover that did not seem suitable. And also there we had to use the same towels for three days, now I’m sure he would have gotten us new ones, but we did not want to bug him and also it’s not something we had to worry about. Overall it was a nice stay and I would recommend it, we would have given it 4.5 stars if it were not for the price point and some of the issues we had. With some very minor changes it would have been perfect.

The room itself was attractive, clean, and very comfortable. It was also conveniently located in the heart of Old Town Split, close to all the restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. On the downside, the smell is TERRIBLE when you first enter the building at the ground floor level. I think this is due to the fish restaurant that is next door or part of the building. Fortunately, the smell did not make its way up to our room, but we had to hold our breath every time we came to or left the building. The ground floor entrance also could use some cleaning because it was pretty dingy. The room is also directly above several restaurants and noisy bars, with blaring music and young people partying until the wee hours of the morning. Fortunately, my wife and I brought earplugs and made sure to close all the windows, which blocked out most of the noise. If you stay here, you definitely want earplugs. Overall, the room was very nice and conveniently located, but the surroundings left something to be desired.

As we are located in strict city center, where everything is just steps away, a bit of noise is to be expected, our rooms are soundproofed and windows double glazed, so rooms are really quiet. The little fish restaurant next door is a great place to try domestic cousine, but as streets in Old town - Palace are narrow, scents from many restaurant kitchens are present within whole the Palace

Look for the green door. Hard to find but lovely!
Really hard to find initially. We didn't have any check in instructions and hadn't heard from anyone so we had a nightmare on where to park and also where the place was. Key advice - look for a green door near where the pin is. It isn't marked super clear when you're stressed over parking, it is easy to miss. We ended up parking in the towns general car park which allows you to stay more than 24 hours, though it charges an hourly rate. Once we found the green door - it was bliss. Great location near all the ruins and good restaurants, room looks like the pictures. We were really pleased to stay there and would recommend it. Just a rocky start on finding it with hotels.com were useless at helping us with when we live chatted with them

Room is beautiful- no view but lovely room and shower. Lots of windows which were great. Management was elusive and not helpful at all. Worst part was the noise. It appears to be located in the partiest part of the town with loud music and yelling from nearby restaurants until the wee hours of the morning. This was shortly followed by local businesses getting ready for their day banging bottles and dragging carts. The location was amazing and like I said the room was beautiful but just be aware of the pitfalls.

Noisy!!
Walked into our room and was pleasantly amazed at the quaintness of our room. Stone walls on the interior, comfortable beds, lovely decor, clean, nice bathroom. BUT…try to sleep!!! Spent 3 nights here and I’m sure I got about 3 hours of sleep each night! Thumping bass from music from a club right outside the window goes until about 1 am only to be woken around 5am to the sounds of people pushing carts up and down the lanes. Close the windows to try to muffle the noise and suffer from the stuffy, stale air that wasn’t helped by the a/c unit at all. Sad, was looking forward to this part of our journey and was very disappointed.

Romantic apartment beautifully presented
The apartment was within the palace walls. It was beautifully presented and was spacious. The location was brilliant and convenient. We would definately stay here again - the only downside was you could here people coming home late at night into the apartment. The stairs are wooden so maybe carpet would be better & a more soundproof door. Again it being an old building you could hear people moving about above you & trying to get into their safes (perhaps need quiter ones) once i put ear plugs in it was fine - as mentioned its a very old but beautiful building

First I want to say that expectations may be a huge factor in my review. We usually stay at 4-5* properties, so I think maybe our expectations are higher than most. On a positive note, the location is great. You walk right out your door and are in the middle of all of the action. On the downside, it’s lousy the biggest party in Split at night with DJs blasting music and bar traffic. Our room was on the other side and with the AC, you take can’t hear it. The room was pretty small, but that’s Europe For You. The bathroom needs a better cleaning. There is mold on the flower grout and mold coming down from the room in the toilet. We also still had debris on the bathroom floor from the previous guests. Also, the stairs are a bit of a killer if you have any luggage and there is a restaurant below who’s cleaning closet is right when you come in and it REALLY smells…. Bad… almost like the grease trap is right in the hallway. Finally, you only get one towel per person (I did call for extra and they were delivered the next day), and one pillow per person as well. Would I stay there again? No… but again, but again, expectations. Some of the things I mentioned may not appeal to some regardless though.

Nice little hotel
My wife and I just loved this place! Close to a private beach. Room had a nice view! Juliana was great! Everyone one who works the is a family member. Great restaurant next store! We definitely stay there again.

Frustrated in Split
I have mixed thoughts about my experience with Le Premier Luxury Rooms. The room itself was very nice - nice size - bathroom was great. Location is very good, however it was quite hard to find. There is no person at this place to ask any questions - such as directions, restaurants, etc. If you are accustomed to having a front desk or at least a person to speak with immediately this is not the place to stay. Contact was done by WhatsApp or a phone call. We arranged a pick-up from the airport through this hotel - taxi driver left us off at the beginning of the old town but could not give good directions to find the place. It was very frustrating way to begin.

This location cannot be beat. One to three minutes from all the restaurants in the old palace walls. Two night clubs below are barely audible with windows closed and air conditioning on.

Absolutely beautiful.
Me and my girlfriend booked this place for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it. It's is a great location with lots of food and bars near but also very quiet and cozy with great AC and a nice shower and as well. Would 100% stay again.

Little gem in heart of city
These rooms are lovely. Beautifully decorated, pristine condition and spotlessly clean. Right in the heart of the old city - easy walking to everywhere. The bars downstairs are a bit noisy but didn’t really bother us. We loved split and had a great time . Lots of steps to terrace appt but worth it!

Great appartment and excellent value
Really great location , clean and good space. We had a long stay here and easily were able to organise cleaning and fresh towels etc. Only downside was it is situated next to a very noisy bar that’s open til late. Didn’t bother us too much, but may not suit everyone

Nice convenient room in Split
Very nice room in very convenient location in Split right next to the palace. The terrace is very large with a hot tub. They send you the door codes the day before, so you can enter as soon as you arrive. Great restaurant and bar directly below.

Room was very clean and tidy on arrival. Josip was responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Breakfast is available at a nearby hotel if included. The location is right next to a very busy street, but given you are in the centre of the old town that is to be expected. 3 flights of stairs to climb up when you arrive (no lift) but again this was good to get away from the noise, but should be considered if you have heavy luggage or are not able to climb. Room was nice, traditional but with a modern feel.

This is more like an airbnb than a hotel. The "hotel" appears to have the top two floors of an apartment building. The breakfast is not in the same building. This is in actual hotel around the corner. Room was as presented and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great location and close to everything. Luckily our room faced the back, so it wasn't too loud at night. However, could see this being an issue for other rooms.

Excellent property!
Very clean up dated suite on the 3rd floor. Beautiful accommodations next to D. Palace. The street noise can be loud but the apartment is well insulated against sound so we slept well. Check-in was contactless and we received door codes the day before arrival. Owner was kind to let us leave our luggage before and after our stay. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely…be aware of potential noise
This place is great: convenient (inside the walls of the old city), clean and cozy. It was perfect for our three day stay in Split. A couple of things: 1) a towel rack or hook on the back of the bathroom door would be great—not a deal breaker by any means—but helpful. 2) The street/alley out front is *lively* with music and talking until late. It’s the young-hipster hangout spot. This was not a problem for us as we had room #1 which did not face the street. We could hear all the noise from the stairwell up until the moment we closed our door—and then: peace and quiet. I imagine if you had any of the rooms facing the street, the noise would be bothersome.

Great location and beautiful room
Beautiful clean apartment with spacious outside terrace. Although the apartment was on the top floor with several flights of stairs this did not bother us. Very comfortable and stylish room. The host was very helpful and friendly and contactable at anytime of the day. Room was very clean and you could not hear any noise from outside which helped get a good nights sleep after a lot of walking and sightseeing. Great location minutes walk to everything. Would definitely stay again

The rooms are nice enough; however, this property only accepted cash to pay for the rooms. One of our televisions didn't work, and the property manager did not seem to care much. There is also a bar restaurant downstairs that can be very noisy into the night. This isn't related to the property itself exactly, but our rental car was towed checking in. Except we parked where there were multiple other vehicles that did not get towed. Local vehicles. The next day, there were even more local vehicles parked where we were parked. There is no signage on the street that advised there is no parking. We feel it might be a bit of a scam targeting tourists.

As stated on the webpage where you booked your room we only accept cash for payment if you want to pay in the property, but you always have an option to prepay the room using your card via Expedia. About the TV problem: we tried to restart the service straight away but this wasn't able to fix the problem, the service provider was contacted immediately, and the problem was fixed the next day, because it was late in the evening it wasn't possible to fix it the same day. Your car was towed because you parked it in the pedestrian only zone of the UNESCO protected 1700 year-old Palace, local cars that you mention are the delivery vehicles and Taxi cars that have the special permit to stop there, the same rules as in every historic area worldwide. We are glad that you liked our rooms, and we look forward to accommodating you sometimes again in the future. Best regards

This is not a hotel, more like a single unit apartment for reservation. However the room quality was incredible on par with a traditional hotel and superior to other Croatian rooms we booked with AirBNB. The patio was wonderful as well. It’s up about 4 flights of stairs, so be aware. But if that is fine w you it was the best room we booked on the trip. Good location right outside palace. Walkable to everything.

Nice, but there is better nearby
After an 8-day cruise, we ended up here. Owner was responsive when we asked questions. Apartment was pretty nice but, once again, it was 45 steps up with no elevator, no help with luggage. Not optimum for seniors. Location good for seeing Old Town. But noisy at night with restaurants below. (Bonus of being in a high-floor room.) But, enjoyed the homey, lovely details and larger size of a nearby “hotel” in Old Town called Boutique Cardea. It was so lovely. Helped us with luggage and took us on a tour of the town so we would not get lost. I’d go with them for sure.

Building location is first row right in front of Palace,location is 10/10,we had room with balcony what gives amazing view to St.Duje cathedral,mountain Marjan,port and islands.Modern tasteful interior room with amazing and big balcony.

Host was amazing!Communication with him was very easy and he was available 24/7 to all our questions! Also you cant find better location than this! You step outside of your room and you are on main promenade!Extra bonus was very delicious breakfast in restaurant near our room.I will definitely come back here!

Schöne, zentrale Lage. Leider waren im Kühlschrank offene Lebensmittel, die offensichtlich bei der letzten Endreinigung vergessen und trotz Nachricht an den Vermieter unseren gesamten Aufenthalt über nicht entfernt wurden.

Utsikt över gamla stan
Mycket trevligt rum med altan och fin utsikt över gamla stan. Tyvärr ingen hiss eller mycket till room service, fick be om få nya handukar och glas efter halva vistelsen.
