"We recently stayed at the Market Street Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The facilities themselves are lovely, and the hotel has a beautiful overall atmosphere and location. Unfortunately, the housekeeping and maintenance standards did not match the quality the hotel presents. The shower contained visible black mold, which was disappointing in an otherwise upscale property. In addition, a sharp metal piece of trim had fallen off in the bathroom. Each day it was stood back up by housekeeping, but maintenance was never contacted to properly reattach or repair it, despite it being an obvious safety concern. While the room was tidied daily, the garbage bins were often not emptied. Overall, the hotel has great potential because of its excellent staff and beautiful property, but greater attention to cleanliness and maintenance details is needed to fully meet expectations."

"Great location and close to everything you want to do. We upgraded and got the "castle view". I wish I would have saved the money as we had a nice view of the city, but had to really stretch our neck around to see the castle. The tram station across the street is very loud and woke me up several times through the night. The bed and pillows were the least comfortable. Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very lovely and helpful. The "laundry" is outsourced and will cost you a pretty penny, so we went elsewhere to get it done. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports"
