Pretty nice for the price. The location is especially great.
Check-in was smooth and I found my room no problem. There was a system in place when I arrived that meant you'd use the elevator going up and the stairs going down, but the lift seemed to be broken after the first day. Not a massive problem but there's definitely not enough room to pass on the stairs, so be mindful of that.
My main problem was the noise made by the air conditioning, which I understand may sound like a petty complaint, but as a Brit I'm not used to that clatter. I made the mistake of turning it off and coming back to a freezing cold room so I wouldn't recommend that.
You can certainly appreciate that this hotel has been refurbished not too many years ago. The waterfall shower is a strong selling point and indeed very lovely. Though, I do doubt whether most customers would get any use out of the 30-pin iPod dock, and it seemed like my TV had been disconnected.
Overall, not a bad stay, beats a hostel.
