Great stay, we booked two double rooms and both were very clean and nicely decorated, as was our shared bathroom, the tunnock tea cakes on the beds were a lovely touch! The price was very reasonable and the self check in was brilliant in these covid times, will definitely stay again!

Alles zag er keurig uit, super netjes en schoon. Inchecken werkt ook perfect en de locatie is centraal, lekker rustig gelegen. Met je hoofd bij het raam was erg koud en flinke tocht helaas geen extra deken aanwezig. De douche delen was voor nu geen probleem omdat er zo weinig mensen gebruik maakte van de accommodatie in onze periode, maar als alles bezet is kan me voorstellen dat twee badkamers te weinig is.

I didn't stay there because I received a message that my booking had not gone through so I booked and stayed at Motel One Edinburgh Royal which would have been a much better experience as it turned out. I never received an answer to my query so am surprised that you think that I stayed at this place.

We arrived in the evening, and when the door was locked, we found we had been emailed a code to get into the main door and room door. We never found staff on site, so were relieved to know we could get in. The location is perfect, however if you are looking for fancy or cozy, this isn't it. We were always on the go so only used the room to sleep in. You must share the toilet and shower with all the guest rooms that are on your floor, however it was clean and updated.

Clean, modern, good location but no character

This is well located and quite well-priced but it no longer offers breakfast and we could not get the radiator to work when it got a bit chilly. The beds were quite comfortable and it is quiet but the shared bathroom was a bit of a faff when rooms are at maximum occupancy. I’ve definitely stayed in places with more character and personal service in Edinburgh but it was very clean and convenient.

A fantastic Central Location. Everything in Central Edinburgh is walkable. The electronic door locks take a little getting used to but proved ok. I was a little concerned by the shared bathrooms , but had no problems. The location more than made up for any little niggles.

Place is very clean and well kept, looks fancy and it is close to city centre, station and main attractions. Shower runs well, hot water available, beds are clean and comfy. Only downside there is no luggage storage at the property before check in or after check out. Backpackers hostel however allows you to leave luggage there for 5gbp all day, while station is quite expensive (12.50gbp from 3 hours onwoards).

Great property centrally located in Edinburgh's New Town area near George Street and Queen Street. The hotel provides a modern clean and comfortable room with all the essentials; but with none of the additional unnecessary frills. Ideally suited for solo travellers / couples who want to make the most of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Train and bus stations all within a 10/15 min walk, great bars and restaurants on your doorstep and Old Town 20 mins walk away, Haymarket 10 mins walk and Leith 30 mins. Staff are very friendly and helpful in person and by phone. I would not hestitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.
