The landlord is very nice and helpful. The property is very clean and decorative. This is the most comfortable place during our vacation in Japan. Strongly recommend this wonderful house.

This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable....

The tranquility of the place the peacefulness the wonderful staff nothing was too much from the time we arrived the staff were superb. The ammenities fabulous. This hotel was at another level we stayed 2 nights breakfast was amazing and delicious the rooms were excellent the bed so comfortable very clean !!! 10/10 I didn’t want to leave !!! The most amazing stay and experience from the stunning views pool, and fabulous staff !!!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved the traditional breakfast, they were accommodating to my husband who can’t eat fish. They have a courtesy bus that takes you to Arashiyama which I didn’t know and so glad they suggested. The futons are hard but I got used to them. They also said their onsen is tattoo friendly. But most of the place is in such a spectacular forest it was so pretty in the late autumn I will definitely be going back.

Good sized room - bathroom was amazing!

A fantastic location in a secluded part of the Kyoto mountain area. Close to some spectacular temples with stunning views. Hospitality was A++ and very traditional. Great experience meeting and talking with geisha also. Highly recommend.

Great views. Functional. Close to the action. Walking distance to heaps of restaurants and cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed strolling the streets.

Great location one stop or 15mins walk from Osaka station. Super comfy and luxe hotel.

Loved staying at this hotel however my kids and myself been bitten by bed insects so they need to check their bed hygiene like a lottttt

Our room was amazing 👏 Cleaned every day. Fresh sheets, fresh towels. Very friendly helpful staff.

Staff were great and most spoke english very well. Bar area was excellent with the addition of a pool table. Rooms were fantastic, clean and beds were comfortable. The free breakfast coffee was well appreciated. Only downfall was the lack of washer/dryers, there is simply not enough and we found we had to go very late at night then wait for the 2 hour cycle only to have it not dry the clothes properly. But all in all a fabulous stay in a great location close to train stations and Hanshin...
