"This hotel was close to the train and only 1 stop away from my daughter’s new apartment. Unfortunately, I don’t speak Japanese and had my daughter with me for check in. I accidentally booked a smoking room. The desk clerk assured us that it won’t be a problem to switch if I don’t like my booked room. "Great"

APA Hotel Shibuya Dogenzakaue

8/10 Good

"My stay was okay overall. I only stayed for one night, which honestly was enough for me. There wasn’t really anything special or memorable about the hotel, but it did the job for a short stay. The biggest plus is the location. There are plenty of restaurants and konbini nearby, so finding food or grabbing anything you need is really convenient. Overall, it’s fine if you just need a convenient place to sleep in Shibuya for a night or two, but I probably wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay."

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel

"Exceptional staff"

THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent

"An excellent stay at The Knot. They allowed me to check in early after a very long flight (no charge) and the staff were so kind. Room was amazingly big and clean. Location was excellent too, with everything in walking distance. Used the luggage transfer service too and they were even kind enough to mark my case as ‘fragile’ after the airline cracked it. Cannot fault this hotel at all."
