Beautiful, and as lovely as the reviews that led us to stopover in this gorgeous place on our way to the Cornish coast. Beautifully appointed room, amazing hospitality and friendliness and we only wished we had had more time to enjoy. Breakfast was also so lovely and we could want for nothing more on our first ever English B&B stay. Thank you Liongate House.

Wonderful, friendly, local on a lovely street. Some great scenery and local walks. Pub next door. Great traditional B&B. James and Jane are very caring and want your stay the best it can be.

An elegantly appointed fairly formal country house in a beautiful rural setting, not far from a tiny small village. The rooms are comfortable and the hosts provide a great breakfast.
Access to and from the property from the A roads was interesting to say the least. Single lane “roads” for the 2 miles either side of the property require a fair degree of both caution and concentration. Some parts will barely allow a car to pass. That said, it is worth the trip. Just do it slowly!

Extremely good hotel with manager her friends and chef going out of their way to help. Chard is away from a lot of the major attractions but to those Brits that have cars and are used to the English roads, use this hotel. As an Australian I found the road system a bit intimidating but the people at this hotel more than made up for it.
The breakfast is amazing with high quality local muesli and a great menu for the cooked section. Well worth it.

This is a quaint property with everything you expect from a place built in the 1400s. The restaurant and bar area has many of the features of an old property such as beams, low ceilings and slab floors.
The room we had was a large one in a converted older out building at the front of the property. It had its own outdoor sitting area and easy access to the adjacent carpark.
Sam and his team were awesome and great conversation.
The dinner was perfect. We couldnt fault The Litton. It has...

Booking a capsule hotel in Somerset is increasingly becoming one of the best ways to travel. These unique accommodation options allow you to budget your holiday entirely differently, with most of your budget going towards attractions in Somerset rather than the hotel itself. The bargain that capsule hotels offer is just the beginning, as you'll find a long list of benefits that go along with planning your holiday at a capsule hotel.
Capsule hotels are unique in that they don't offer much space compared to the typical hotel. Even so, they offer all the space you personally will need. At capsule hotels, guests sleep in pods with a large bed and room to stretch out. This pod is surprisingly cosy, featuring warm lights and convenient amenities like power outlets to keep your devices charged and ready for your adventures in Somerset.
Staying in a capsule hotel is similar to staying in a hostel. You'll have convenient access to a bathroom and dining area, but they're communal facilities that you share with the rest of the guests. Unlike a hostel, however, your pod is completely private and even soundproof, allowing you to get a relaxing rest regardless of what's going on in the hallway. Additionally, the duration of your booking can vary quite a bit. Most people tend to book capsules for a short period of time, but some hotels offer bookings for as little as 1 hour. Even so, you'll still be able to find some that offer multiple-day bookings.
When you're looking for the best capsule hotel in Somerset, we make your search easy. All you have to do is input your travel dates, and you'll find a wide variety of results from 0 unique options starting at just AU$67. Additionally, these convenient results will display an average of previous guest ratings as well as special offers like free cancellation.
