Nice friendly and clean

Very friendly family run establishment, a real personal service that you don’t get at larger hotels, or even b and b’s. The owners clearly think of how to provide a pleasant experience for their guests. Location really nice village with some nice pubs within minutes walk

From the welcome plate of delicious home made brownies to the delicious breakfast before departure, our stay at Liongate House was faultless. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and our hosts Liz and Graeme made us feel at home. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. Thank you.

It was spotlessly clean and we had a very warm welcome from Liz, the owner. I must admit , she goes the extra mile when it comes to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are extra special. She makes the bread herself and also makes the marmalade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liongate B&B

Beautiful, and as lovely as the reviews that led us to stopover in this gorgeous place on our way to the Cornish coast. Beautifully appointed room, amazing hospitality and friendliness and we only wished we had had more time to enjoy. Exceptional B and B

This was an absolute delight. Exceptional in everything from the hosts, room, bathroom, selections of teas, extras. There was nothing at all missing. Lovely temperature. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of room. Free soft drinks from the fridge downstairs. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, fresh strawberries, raspberries organic yoghurt. Selection menus for cooked breakfast, fresh juices and plenty of tea and coffee all served in a lovely room. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Will definitely go again if in the area.

The Liongate is a small well appointed B&B which is very comfortable, and provides an excellent breakfast. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and I have no complaints at all. I would happily stay here again.

Everything about our stay here was delightful. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the room and amenities were of the highest standard, with a lovely wet room en-suite, use of a guest fridge, large well proportioned room and walk in wardrobe. There was a choice of local eateries, we used the Ilchester Arms which was less than 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice. You won’t leave hungry. Highly recommended in every way.

Liz and Graham are wonderful hosts and run a small & very well maintained property. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and well kept. Liongate House is centrally located in the charming village and car parking is available on site. The breakfast was absolutely first class and the hosts genuinely want to please. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would have no hesitation in staying there again when in the area.
