"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. That was a shame because it was only a couple of hundred meters away from our accommodation. The nearest place to eat is a 20 minute walk to the next...

"We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. The nearest town is a short drive away. Lusima is a great host who went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.with helpful advice on activities and great restaurants. "Our stay was organised for the benefit to compete in the Sella descent kayak race. The accommodation is located in an ideal position, not too far away from the start of the race in Arriondas. Communication with Linda was excellent, and we will definitely be looking to stay again next year if we compete again the kayak race. "Tanto José Manuel, el propietario, como su mujer Susana estuvieron en todo momento pendientes de la reserva. Al llegar nos recibió ella y nos explicó la casa y nos enseñó las dependencias. La casa está muy bien ubicada cerca de Cangas de Onís, en un pueblo llamado Caño en el que se respira tranquilidad, que es lo que buscábamos. Además Susana nos comentó distinto lugares donde comer. Es una gran opción a tener en cuenta si repetimos destino. Os vais a sentir como en casa"

"Andoni is a brilliant host - communicating mainly by WhatsApp and replying very quickly to all queries. Great place for exploring the Picos and North coast beaches. The surrounding area is very picturesque and quiet. Arriondas is close by for shopping and Canis de Onga is a lovely town with lots to do and swimming in the river to cool off!"

"Hemos estado 10 días en Casa La Xiana. La ubicación es en un entorno tranquilo, rodeado de montañas y paisajes de belleza extraordinaria para los amantes de la naturaleza. En cuanto a la casa tiene varios déficits; por un lado la equipación de la cocina no sólo es mínima sinó que está vieja y oxidada, hemos tenido que comprarnos una sartén para poder cocinar. El lavabo, sobretodo la ducha no tiene potencia el agua. Las escaleras son el gran problema de esta casa, máxime si hay que ir al lavabo...

"Pas cher mais entretien et insonorisation médiocre ( le bruit de la cascade est gênant quand on n a pas l habitude pour nous qui habitons à la campagne sans aucun bruit...) et le simple vitrage ne sert à rien. Pas d accueil physique tout se passe à distance. Il n y avait pas d allumettes on a dû attendre plus d 1h pour en avoir vu qu il n y a aucun commerce autour. Cerise sur le gateau : piscine et jacuzzi hs ( vides) or ils étaient mis en avant dans l annonce sans précision qu ils étaient hs."
