"Great location, centrally located to all the stations and bus stops, as well as shopping centers and street markets. Staff was helpful and polite. Location provides laundry services but did not have self-service laundromat, however there are at least 2 independent self-service laundromats within 15 mins walking distance."

"Our stay was magical! This was our first experience with a ryokan and also our first night in Kyoto. The staff were very nice & helpful. The shared living space was quiet and clean. The gardens were gorgeous and the food was good. The japanese breakfast was delicious!!!"

The bentobox breakfasts were delicious, nutritious and had a variety of foods that even our pickiest family member enjoyed sampling. Most impressive, though were the hotel service team. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and consistently went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in Kyoto. We felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay.
