"Liisa at front desk and housekeeping is excellent, so friendly, gives great advice, asks if you need anything and how are things each day 100 yr old hotel, with lots of history. rooms are dated and need upgrading, but acceptable. mattress average excellent breakfast bar with muffins, fruit, yoghurt, coffee/tea, cereal, oatmeal etc can come grab a water or fruit later in the day as well lots of space games rooms in basement with pool table, ping pong, hockey, upstairs large common lounge room has large book, magazine and board game selection large ROKU streaming tv to be shared great water view. would return again"

"I booked this wonderful cottage for my adult daughter and her partner who came to Thunder Bay to visit. They raved about this cottage. It ticked all the boxes. Beautiful inside. Spectacular setting. When they weren't sitting by the lake, they made the brief trip to hike the Sleeping Giant and visit Silver Islet. I would highly recommend staying here. Wonderful experience all around!"
