"The hotel was being renovated when we were there. It is a tired beauty--so hopefully the renos will restore some glory! The room was tidy. The beds were comfortable--but we really would appreciate having a selection of pillows. The staff was helpful and lovely. The location was fantatic for our forays into downtown and the restaurants in the area. We didnt use the pool this trip. We will go back for the package that includes breakfast. It was by far the best of any hotel we have stayed at (and that is a lot).

"Staff at check in was courteous. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. I slept very well. A bit loud outside when people are talking but you don't hear between rooms and there is also a curfew for making noise told to the clients at check in. As for the look of the room, the walls are just bricks and there was not many decoration, which made the room cold. The price was the best of the town so it is still a good choice for convenience. Thank you!"
"Room was 58 F on arrival, thermostat was off, a small electric heater was running . Turned on the thermostat with no change noted, left for 2 hours had gone up to 59 F. Called the desk and the reception clerk came up and said there was nothing he could do because the hotel was full. Maybe change rooms tomorrow.
The tiny heater warmed the room up by 1 degree every hour or 2 and we managed to sleep.
No one ever returned or tried to fix the problem, we ran the electric heater continuously till we left after the second night. On checkout a different clerk was not surprised when i told her we had no central heat and voiced an apology.
No attempt was made to fix the problem or compensate us for the problem, and no one seemed concerned about the fire risk of running a space heater in our room for 2 days nonstop.
When we checked online after the desk clerk said the hotel was full, we found that the hotel was still taking reservations.
While staying there we saw no attempt to shovel the parking areas or walkways and we noticed that the fire exits were piled with snow. If the space heater had caused a fire we might not have been able to exit.
