"Check in took a very long time with only one person in front of us. Very confusing information about where you can and can’t park. Most of the parking for the hotel is 3 blocks away which was not convenient at all. "

"We stayed for a two night staycation. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows could use updating. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. There was no body/hand lotion at the sink. Since this is a boutique hotel, it would be nice if real glasses and ceramic coffee mugs were in the room and not paper/plastic. The same goes for the breakfast room. Paper plates and wooden utensils cheapen the experience. The breakfast selection was pretty good. They had grocery store croissants. There are many local bakeries that I’m sure would love to provide their product for visitors to enjoy. It would also help promote the local businesses. The his hotel is a heritage building, so I think it should be a little fancier. Word of mouth is important, when it comes to tourism."

"We loved everything about our stay here! The host was super responsive at booking and before arrival. Everything inside was exactly as advertised. The view looking out into Lake Superior is truly priceless, we enjoyed it during meals from the kitchen table and from the love seat in between. The master bed was very comfortable and the upstairs bathroom had everything needed. We did not use the bunk beds or the downstairs bathroom. We did not turn on any TVs, the lake was too captivating. We grilled steaks outside, made the rest of our meals inside and had every pot/plate/utensil we could have thought to need in there. The pictures are super accurate to what we found on arrival, no surprises of any kind during our stay. I will absolutely plan to stay here again the next time I am in the area."
