"I'm an American so being unfamiliar with Malaysia i didnt quite know what to expect of hotels in Malaysia. I stayed in room 603 from the middle of august to about a week or so ago. From what i saw and experienced, this is the best, cleanest, highest class hotel i have ever been in, in my life. I stayed briefly in other hotels like Cosmo Hotel in KL centre or 5 senses or other 4 or 5 star hotels near Kuala Lumpur. None of them can compare with double tree in shah Alam. "The hotel is quite old but well maintained. The room is quite clean and confortable. A lot of parking provided and free for tenant. The downside is no free wifi password is provide."

"Attended an event at the Shah Alam Theatre, so the primary reason for booking this was the location. Staff was friendly and helpful; the onsite food options were good and convenient. Didn't explore the area so cannot comment on it. Property is showing its age, and I hope the owners invest in an upgrade. Furnishings showed distress; carpet slightly worn; bathroom porcelain was colored; one elevator kept stalling. However, was pleased with the stay."

"Hotel and staff were excellent. We opted for the breakfast and there were a variety of options available. Only thing I would suggest is that hair shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion be provided as one of the amenities. "
