"Excellent for everything "

"Amazing hotel! Very modern and clean, lovely staff and good value! 30min walk from central station, an hours walk to central Milan. Lots of transport options around but weather was amazing so we walked everywhere! Nice seating and garden at hotel. Wifi was great too! Would recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely use again if I return!! "

"I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was very nicely organized and homey. The room included little snacks which is lovely. The breakfast is very good and includes options for vegans. It is also well located, close to a metro stop and a short walk to shopping. The best part of the hotel is the welcoming staff. This is a great spot for a short visit or a long visit. I would have liked to stay longer. Thank you!"

"An amazing hotel in a great location 10 minutes walk from Duomo and 3 minutes from the Castello. The hotel was amazing with great service, fab breakfast and even a hot tub on the terrace. Thoroughly recommend it"

"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. Our room was one of the two behind the courtyard which, unfortunately, the WiFi signal from the main building didn't reach - but was fine if...

"Simple, yet cute, cozy, very clean and comfortable little hotel.Everything you would need for a short or long vacation its right there. Walking distance from the majestic Duomo di Milano Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, transportation, coffe shops, restaurants and other sites of interest. The breakfast buffet is really good with a lot of options and daily baked bread in the hotel kitchen, the dinning area is very pretty. "Don't espect other than a room, nothing else than a rooms for me this is not a hotel more as a motel even deficult to locate hotel for first arrival entry. Rooms as you saw in the photos location is very good but hotel in a building that shared in the third floor it's like an apartment divided to rooms. "

"We stayed one night here and it was ideal for our stay. It was close to a supermarket and not too far from the central station. The room had everything we needed and was a decent size and clean too. Would recommend if looking for a hotel on a budget and don’t mind the walk or public transport to the main area of Milan (near the cathedral). We would stay here again. "

"I read a few reviews that said the property could be difficult to find. The instructions were very clear and as we arrived for check in during the day, it was simple to find the property. I was pleasantly surprised with the location and how simple it was to get on a metro or train from the property. The room itself was clean and had everything needed for a couple nights stay. An extra thank you to Anna who was very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome!"

"Personnel is nice, but need to learn English language, since not whole world speaks Italian, i needed a place to stay for a decent price, sheets are clean, water is hot, and the rooms are tidy, this is all i needed. The place i had meeting @ was only 1,2 km away."

"The place is perfect if you want to be in the city center. You can get almost anywhere from here. The metro is a very short walk, cabs on the corners and Uber. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. There is a restaurant in the courtyard and high end shopping all around it. The hallways to the rooms are narrow but the balcony was great. The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. "
