"When we first arrived at the property after a 4 hour drive the staff at the front desk wasn't too friendly we got to our room it was very dirty you could see the comforter was dingy and had black spots and the bed had little hairs and stuff in it there was cobwebs in every corner and bugs over the floor the carpet was dirty had food particles all over it the bathroom was dirty and It was very disappointed for my wise birthday visit to Sequoia National Park It was very disappointed for my wise birthday visit to Sequoia National Park"

"The location was the best of both parks. Best visitors center and walk to dinner. Kings Canyon was amazing. Easy trip to Sequoia hikes. The lodge was great. Loved tea and puzzles in the lobby. Nice big room with a great shower. We’ll be back. "

"This by far the worst stay we have. I expected to enjoy the property because I love the fact that it has a river access at the backyard area. But unfortunately they did not even cut the grass and the totoo much trash. Under the patio deck has trash bags full of trash. Inside the house, the air conditioner is full of cobwebs. The floor has animal hairs too. There’s also questionable stain on the carpet floor in the loft. They promised to cut the grass on our second day but they didn’t do it. Never again will we rent this property. Yuck!!!"

"The beds were not comfortable, the showers were either freezing or scalding. Traffic noise was hard early in the morning. It was close to Sequoia which was nice."

"The property was beautiful. Lush and green, there were even swings which I love in the playground! It is definitely pet friendly and the pet fee is very reasonable. We parked right outside of our little cottage and then took a walk down to the river, not far from the property. Would definitely stay here again."

"First time staying there with my kids. It’s so close to the entrance to Sequoia. They have definitely been upgrading the property. The room had a flat screen tv. The screen to the window and the screen door were both metal/steel. The AC is not central. There’s also an old sign on it stating to turn off all the lights to save electricity or there would be an extra charge. The owner (I’m assuming) was attentive and gave me the requested items (I needed an extra towel). I have to admit I was not fond of the checkout. I had to leave the key in a tin basket outside the office door since there was no staff onsite at the time. For all I know, someone could have grabbed the key and gone into the room my kids and I stayed in and trash it. A slot in the office door would have been better. For a last minute stay, I would recommend it. The market next door was great."
