I really liked the vibe, cleanliness and their friendly staffs. Very polite and efficient front desks, my water heater and hairdryer were not working and they managed to promptly attend to my requests and send someone to repair within 15mins even it's alrdy late night. Strategic location, walkable to cafes, warungs and spa lounges. Satisfying 4 nights stay with them!

I really liked this hotel. The room was very clean and there were large mirrors which are always useful. The pool was right in the lobby which wasn’t as private as I would have liked and kind of open to just anyone walking past. But overall I would come back.

When first booking I had booked the Superior room but when arriving realized for some reason the windows in the room do not open. Being I was staying for two weeks there is no way I could have stayed in a room for that amount of time with no air. The rooms also smelt a little stale from having no air flow. Maybe the windows could be opened and set a lock for the amount it opens if it's a safety issue? I asked to be upgraded to the Junior suite which I loved although I was charged for the night I didn't even stay at the hotel as my flight was cancelled for the upgrade also which I really didn't understand. I had booked the original room the day before so no sure why I was paying for the upgrade I made the next day. Some things around the hotel definitely need attention but the staff is truly what made the stay amazing. They were caring, consistent and ensured every ones needs were met. I really think the cleaners do an amazing job as do the front desk staff you all need an applause for your hard work.

My partner and I had a great stay at the Daun! Overall the room was great, the pool was lovely (and always clean!), the jacuzzi was comfortable, and the happy hour (from 3-10pm!) was an absolute vibe. Above all of this was the standout staff - they were lovely, so helpful, and always smiling. The things that didn't land our stay at 5/5 were: our shower had a drainage problem which meant we couldn't run the shower for long before the water flowed onto our bathroom floor (a minor issue). The real issue was the caged birds next to the pool- this really bothered us. They had no entertainment in the cage (i.e., toys) and were not at all needed for the environment. It was especially hard to see these poor birds caged when so many joyous free birds were flying in and out of the pool area. Please please please reconsider the need for your caged birds!

I have been at this hotel twice (before it changed name) and the room was still the same. It is getting quite old as a structure. Bed sheets were full of spots here and there, the water coming out from the shower was very smelly and options for food and drinks at the bar are very limited. Nevertheless, the position is good and the staff is very kind.

Hotel is fine. Housekeeping starts at 8am and is super loud in the hall so even if you have DND on, you will be woken up. Didn’t sleep well the whole two weeks we stayed here. Also, quality of the people staying here wasn’t great and we had guests all down our hall who were banging their doors after midnight, yelling, smoking everywhere in the common areas. We reported this to the staff and just got an apology, so after two times here (mainly bc Seminyak is convenient to go to Canguu, Ubud and the south from) we won’t stay here again. Also, the WiFi was very unreliable. We had to get a SIM card.

Best rooftop jacuzzi

I booked to stay one night in Hotel Zia but ended up staying 2 as I really liked the hotel. It is not right in the heart of Seminyak about 10 minutes away by taxi but taxis are super cheap and readily available (if you get a bluebird taxi!). There are lots of good restaurants nearby if that's your thing, especially Métis and Sardine just 2 minutes walk. The room was spacious, clean and had good air con. The hotel staff are very friendly too. The best part about Hotel Zia is the rooftop. They have 2 jacuzzis as well as some sun loungers and sofas overlooking Seminyak. The hotel is very new only 2 months old so when I was there I was surprised how quiet it was but this was perfect for me. The only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of free area shuttle as advertised on hotels.com; they said it wasn't running as they were still in the process of building up to it. Not a big issue though as like I said taxis to Seminyak square are cheap.

Gutes Hotel an toller Lage

Tolles Hotel an guter Lage an einer belebten Strasse. Zimmer sind aber gut schallisoliert Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Swimmingpool ist auch schön gestaltet. Wir hatten zu dritt ein genügend grösses Zimmer. Essen sosolala… und das Frühstück enttäuschend. Ist eher auf asiatische Gäste ausgelegt. Dieses würden wir nächstes Mal nicht mehr dazu buchen, da gibt es genügend sehr gute Restaurants mit Frühstück in der Nöhe.

I paid for the deluxe suite which is a larger room you pay extra for it the room is completely run down stains on the sofa is a huge black mark on the door when you walk in the shower is not strong there’s also terrible hum from the electrical plant that resonated in my room I figured all the rooms had the same sort of sound so loud The bed was OK pillows were fine service was good the other thing if you’re riding a bike where are you parking can be difficult in the car park as there is so many bikes which is mainly staff bikes and it’s very difficult to park and get out Food is OK it’s not outstanding it’s fine if you have nowhere else to go staff are friendly The parking security guys don’t really help you with your bike I’m trying to find a parking spot that was disappointing when I first arrived

Great hotel for the price! They have a hot tub on the roof too which is a must try! They have sheesha there as well! Great price, rooms are very modern and clean! Service is just fantastic! Breakfast is not bad. Close to this spa called Sundari spa which is a must try for cheap but great massages, we went there twice in 2 days!
