So lets start with few positives: the garden is beautiful and well-kept. The beds are very comfortable.
But sadly that’s about it. The rest of experience was unsatisfactory.
I could give a benefit of doubt for this property if they would be in first months of operation, but sadly that’s not the case. So let me list the issues encountered:
- Rooms were not ready upon check in. We arrived around 15.40 and were asked to wait for about 30 minutes. The staff even was not proactive enough to switch on the ceiling fan while waiting, and that needed to be requested. The booking was made months before, and we didn’t arrive before official check in time set at 2pm.
- The sliding doors for the rooms haven’t seen a drop of oil, so the sliding required a lot of force every time
- Mosquito net didn’t cover all 4 sides of the bed, so it was a mere decoration rather than actual feature
- NOISE!!! As other reviewers have mentioned, most of the rooms are located on the side of a busy road. The traffic noise was significant. Knowing this from previous reviews, I send an email to the property asking to allocate rooms away from the street side. The response was that all the rooms are on the street side. This appeared to be incorrect, the rooms are built in L-shape, and there were 2 rooms further away from the street!
- NO WIFI. simply not paid
-keeping a single duck in a tiny cage next to a rice field is cruel
