"The room was a good size but smelled badly. We opened the windows which did clear it eventually. Found someone else's deodorant on the floor under the desk. The staff are very nice. Car park is free and always had spaces. Great location for the sea front. We had hreakfast off-site so can't comment on that. "

"Lovely breakfast, polite and attentive staff. Unfortunetely couple of the beers were not available and the room not as clean as it should, nice enough stay though. Rooms are always hot here and no A/C but there are usually windows/doors you can open."

"Outstanding,hotel and staff.love this place.breakfast needs attention.every thing lovely,clean and in abundance but the cooked breakfast needs attention,terrible sausages and the beans looked like they had been reheated over and over again and not just me and my families but quite a few tables had the same left overs. But will I go again,absolutely.house keeping manager ,thankyou for going above and beyond for us.problem with the booking and there computers side but resolved in a heartbeat.thankyou."

"The public areas are lovely. The pool area is dirty looking and very shabby, I’d take flip flops. Rooms are dated and could do with a deep clean. In desperate need of a refurbishment and deep clean. Breakfast was warm and not very appetising."

"First time staying on business, asked for a fifty pound deposit in case I cause damage to the room ? I travel throughout the UK never been asked before for a deposit for the room. Went to the downstairs pub for a drink and some food, told the barman I was a resident and could I open a tab, barman refused saying I might run off without paying? Food awful left the meal and will not be returning."

"We did not have time to use the hot tub unfortunately and we did not look for shops nearby but we had no need anyway."

"The room was spotless but had a problem with thd drain in the bath tub took hours to empty.And breakfast is not included. A chatge off £14 on top off the £162 id already paid i did ferl that this should be included in all bookings as a guest."

"Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. "
