"This sturdy, small house has everything you need to enjoy a get-away by a pretty lake. Lakeview always available through the large living-room windows and convenient & spacious dining area. 2 porches with seating are lit in evenings for a cozy feel. In addition, there is a large side/back yard with a fire pit, seating & ambiance lights. "Great getaway for our family visiting the area for a Hunter Mountain ski trip. House was perfect for a party of 10. The mountain was about 30 min away which we didn’t mind the drive to start our day. Loved the indoor sauna and massage chairs! And a great kitchen for entertaining and staying in. "

"Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT...
