This was a really nice place to stay while we were in town for a funeral. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were initially surprised when our GPS had us turn into an empty parking lot, so just a note that you enter the hotel from the rear of the building.

Lovely old school facility with enough new amenities to make the stay wonderful. The breakfast is excellent and the server is super friendly. Although the grounds are a bit dark at night, we were able to find our way to the entrance. I would gladly stay again.

Pros: The room was clean. Staff was very nice. Conveniently located near highways and eateries. Easy to park. Cons: conjoined rooms only lock by chain. You can still open the door and peek through. There was no lock on the bathroom door either.

We stay at this hotel a lot when traveling to the Albany area. We were a little disappointed this time around. The floor in our room was dirty, and there were dirt spots on the comforter. The server at the morning breakfast buffet was very friendly and a hard worker.

Reasonably priced with clean, comfortable beds and bathroom. Its location was great for our family visit/ activities. Housekeeping could do a better job dusting. The lamps and several tabletops were very dusty and areas around the doors were dirty. It could use a bit more attention. Overall though a very good experience.
