This property is a hidden gem. It's in a great location. It was clean and has lots of things to do outdoors. The room was updated and roomy. The wifi was fast. The staff was so nice. Definitely recommend!

Loved the cottage and was pet friendly as we brought our dog with us. Plenty of room for 4 people and 2 bedrooms. Beds were OK.

A great stay at a good price

The room was clean and a nice size. The bathroom was also nice. Wish the beds were a slight bit softer and I wish they had tissue in the room. The staff was nice and helpful. Nice sports stuff for the kids on property and a beautiful view of the lake

The staff was wonderful , the young lady working there went above and beyond . The cottage itself is great , very comfortable and cute . Everything you need is there if you want to cook a simple meal in , and there are ceiling fans , ac and heat . The day we arrived was warm , and the staff put on the air and ceiling fans prior to our arrival so the cabin was nice and cool for us ! The property is lovely with a beautiful view . The cabin has a nice deck with a table and chairs . We loved it and we are already planning to return . We feel like we found a hidden gem in the lake George area !

Hidden Gem Pet Friendly

Wonderful little gem in Diamond Point! Lovely updated cabin/ cottage efficiency. Neat, clean and property well maintained. They are pet friendly, which is why we chose them, initially. Great views of mountains and lake. Across the street from lake with access to beach from sister property. Lots of space to walk dogs. Very comfortable, welcoming and friendly.

I hope the owners do better jobs on internet connection it's bren horrible experience on top of the hill very poor connection ..the only complaint i have i do stay on this place every year but i don't know what happened this time ..owner Tom are you listening fix the internet please..15 megabits will be fine.

Hill View is a beautiful property! Close to the lake but also far enough away from the crowds. The 2 bedroom family suite was excellent. The new ac units kept the place very comfortable. Towel service was prompt and easy. The outside patio space was awesome. Beautiful mountain views and I could see the lake as I sat at the table and read a book. Seems like a great place to come with a group, but also felt private enough for a relaxing vacation!

Cute spot with a nice view of the mountains surrounding Lake George from the cottage deck. Naturally social distant with cottages and their own deck with tables. Wonderful amenities with a pool, miniature golf and a bonfire pit close to one another. I would come back.

Find another place

Small dated cottages with hard beds. Uneventful until the final night and we were woken up by a mouse in the room. Blocked off the hole it came out of and went to bed. Mentioned it in the morning to the staff and they just offered apologizes. My wife called the next day and spoke with someone who would speak to the owners and call her right back. She called back a few days later after not hearing back and left a message. No call back and I attempted to call multiple times and left multiple messages. Called back repeatedly one day until I got someone and stated that if I didnt get a response within a day I would bring this issue up through other channels. No call back but an email stating they would refund that single evening, obviously didnt want to talk to me and just wanted me to go away. Horrible customer service; obviously not well maintained cottages and mice not recommended, there are plenty of other places to stay in that area.

This was a get away for me and my boys, ages 2 and 6. While I was more critical of the condition of some things, to my boys, it was the best trip ever. I loved that each room had a porch. I loved that I could grill outside and could see my boys playing on the playground at all times. The pool was great, kiddie pool was an awesome bonus. My kids loved the ping pong and mini golf and I loved the bonfire at night. The beach was a little walk, but totally nice, everyone was very friendly, and the kids had a blast. I chose to go off peak and I would absolutely do it again. No lines at amusement parks, discounted hotels and parks, no crowded streets are parking. I plan on staying at Hill View again and again.

Not bad for the sale price.

I booked this motel because of the sale price. It stated there was limited maid service so I called to find out what that meant. I was told by Expedia that meant they wouldn't change the sheets for my 3 day stay but would make the beds and bring clean towels. Well our room was never touched by anyone during our stay. Also our room seemed like it was unfinished. Whole in the wall behind the TV and missing tiles in the bathroom. Also the bathroom floor was not clean and towels had a musty smell to them. Not sure I would pay full price to stay here again.

Stay away form this place $$$

The place needs updating. Mattresses hard. Pillows flat. place has no towels. we when out to bought them. This was not stated when i place my reservation. the kitchen had lots of missing plates and glasses and utensil Over priced for what you get. Beware
