"I was a bit disappointed especially given the marketing (that team gets 5 stars!). I thought the rooms were outdated and a little worn, the breakfast was cold and limited, the pool and gym are part of a private member facility (so busy in the evening), the food in the pub/bar was terrible (!!) and when we asked if there were two singles available we were told we could easily use the sofa bed, but not linen provided. Perhaps I’ve done too much travelling and am jaded, but … On the plus side, easy access from the railway station, "

"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."
