I love the breakfast and the rooms are clean and roomy. I am not a Fisherman's wharf fan but love to walk and you can get down to the water quickly and walk to the Marina or the Bridge. Or you can easily walk to North Beach, Chinatown or down around the piers.

The Christmas tree - the main highlight of the season - was sadly relegated to the side of the main door and in its usual place was a ridiculous champagne bar! Extremely courteous staff. Easy and quick check in. On-site restaurant and coffee bar was delicious. I feel very safe there with the locking garage. My go-to hotel when I'm in the City, usually having a loved one in the hospital.
