Basic property. Has everything you need for a short stay. Good for digital nomads with shared working area and reliable wifi. Not a great neighbourhood as there is a homelessness and drug addiction problem in the surrounding area.

It was definitely a unique stay, the place was lovely and clean however the bathroom situation was a shock. there is no door?! this was the only issue with the place, as there was no privacy. I was with my friend so one of us had to go upstairs and wait while we used the shower or bathroom. even a curtain would provide more privacy. all and all the room was great, bed was comfy and liked everything but the bathroom. that was honestly crazy and there is no photos of it online. you literally walk through the door and the toilet is right there.

I had such a great stay at YOTEL San Francisco! The hotel has a cool, modern design that makes everything feel effortless, but what really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, they made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was super convenient, and I loved how the space was thoughtfully designed—cozy yet efficient. It was the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the city. I’ll definitely be back!

I've stayed here a few times--it's a no frills hotel but quite modern and clean. The cheapest room is a bit like staying in an extra large phone booth...but hey...it's very economical. Plus they quite are generous with the freebies in the lounge--coffee, pastries, even unlimited Frosted Flakes. Can't really complain. The neighborhood has actually improved quite a bit, too. It used to be very dicey, despite the immaculate condition of the hotel itself.

I checked in and checkout out. I had a vehicle and no parking garage. The public garage meant I would walk w all the drug dealers, drug addicts and homeless people. One of the dealers went to my vehicle and started banging on it. It was broad daylight I could only imagine having to this at night.

Check in staff was friendly but rooms are smaller than they appear. Very few amenities - mostly vending. No ice in the ice machine, just room temp water. Directed to parking, but they do not validate so expect $30 parking in addition to room cost, plus more if you move your vehicle to go out. Check out staff the next morning was rude, and breakfast was limited. Not bad overall but would not rebook.
