"Very nicely updated property. Clean and comfortable. Customer service was great. Lots of photo ops within the hotel and great history. Given the quality of the hotel I was surprised with the bar. Very limited selection. Not the one to order a martini. We had a bad experience at the breakfast restaurant and could not eat. Ordered eggs Benedict and had to be returned. Order scrambled eggs and 35 mins later neither had arrived. Service was apologetic and comped the rest of it. Wine tasting next...

"The property is so old, traditional and lovely, it was cool like a cave during a very hot 39 degrees day. But the best about it all is Sean and Mynhardt, they're so kind, welcoming and helpful. "Beautiful location with a stunning drive in from the motorway on well-paved roads. Great directions via a link from the owners. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything exactly as in the photos. The garden is lovely, peaceful and the owners were friendly and helpful. Parking in a covered area to keep the car cool. Only 15 minutes away from great beaches, small towns and supermarkets. Enjoyed our stay very much."
