"My wife and I were excited to stay on the beach at Hilton Head and planned our vacation around this hotel. For the money spent, they did not read my notes requesting certain information. We found mold in the ice cubes from the machine on the floor. Rooms had a combo smell of bleach and mold as well. Shower was extra slippery with not mat to alleviate that. Room a/c was loud and did not hold the temperature set! In other words, an ice box. Morning breakfast buffet was sub par. Food was bland or cold. The Westin is one of Marriott’s high end properties. Not so on Hilton Head Island. Extremely disappointed with my choice to stay there. Choose another hotel and avoid these pitfalls."

"We loved our stay at Sonesta Hilton Head. It was our first time staying there and we will definitely book again in fall. I planned a birthday getaway for my husband and it was perfect. The staff is so sweet and thoughtful, the property is very well maintained, rooms are impeccable, restaurants/food is amazing, parking is so convenient. It is great for taking a nice walk to beach and is also very close to shopping and other things to do on the island. We had the most relaxing, stress free stay. It was absolutely perfect. I cannot think of one thing I would suggest to fix or change about our stay. We could not be happier with the choice, we will recommend to friends and family. We will definitely be back in September. "

"The property at the Omni resort in Hilton head is beautiful and well maintained. We had a little hiccup upon check in with our room. But the hotel staff quickly intervened and found us a comparable alternative. I’d say the best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was lovely, accommodating, and genuinely interested in keeping the guests happy."

"Staff were helpful at the front desk and pleasant. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. We stayed in the standard room with two double beds. It didn’t have balcony furniture but you could go and stand outside. Also had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast had cooked omelettes, fresh fruit and cereal- plenty of options to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and conveniently location. Swimming pool was pleasant. "

"The breakfast menu was minimal. Fresh fruit would have been a good addition, yogurts also. The breakfast staff was surly but did refill was was missing. "

"Should make it clear that the bedroom is up steep stairs , didn’t really bother us this time but if we had stayed there last year right after my open heart surgery it would have been difficult . But over all a very nice place to stay and we enjoyed it ."
