"We were kind of disappointed when we walked in. The staff weren’t overly friendly, the lobby was dirty as well as the room. The room had an overwhelming bleach smell mixed with cigarette smoke. Very underwhelming compared to the photos online. 10/10 don’t recommend."

"The hotel is perfectly situated to what we like downtown. Every staff member was helpful & nice. We stayed in suite 3D. The King bed is very comfortable. The American Leather pullout is very comfortable (our son slept on it). We were going to bring our dog, they even had a bed and bowls for him, but our plans changed. The turndown service is nice to get new towels after being out a shower and clean towels are appreciated. The shops in and around the property are fun. The landscaping and courtyard are lovely. The new American Park nearby is great. Save room for brunch (12-3 make a reservation) in the Palmetto room on Sunday (we were too full after our Sat meals) it looked amazing tomahawk steaks, pastries, etc. One issue is there's a separate door to the toilet from the sink area, I felt like you had to back up into the toilet to close the door. But a door to the toilet is always appreciated."

"Beautiful hotel, great location fabulous restaurants all around. Very comfy beds great shower. Bar is very nice, shout out to Greg and Graham. Breakfast had a very nice selection of yogurts, fruit, waffles, biscuits grits etc. front desk staff were very helpful shout out to Jodyann."

"The breakfast was great! We got 2 complimentary drink tickets for happy hour each night and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were dated but being in the historic district we expected that. And they were very clean. We had a great a stay! "

"The only downside is there is no dining facility. They do provide free room service for breakfast."
