Attention to detail is evident in this boutique hotel. The bed was so comfy for a night of tv binging. Bathrobes added an extra cozy touch and perfect because we came to relax! There is an attached private porch. I wish it had a couple of chairs, but it was a nice place to sip morning coffee and smell the salty bay air.
Bay street shops, restaurants and bay front swings are just a few short blocks away. We were there to experience "first friday" downtown. It was a fun vibe! The thick floor to ceiling curtains block the light and street sounds when needed but open for lots of natural light. A white noise machine was included (details!) but wasn't needed because this llitte piece of history was quaint and quiet at night. We found all kinds of historical treasures in the surrounding neighborhood, so be sure to explore! The rain showerhead made for a great shower. The only negative is that due to a humid environment, a little more attention is needed to the cleaning of the shower. Check in was simple and zero contact, which was wonderful for a couple of introverts. The design was lovely, and a couple of goodies welcomed us in as well as coffee and water in the common area. We would definitely come again!
