"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"I had a lovely stay in one of the double rooms which is very spacious for Japanese hotels. I loved the the design of the room as well as its amenities - especially the en-suite bathroom! It’s located in a quite side street and the downstairs gyoza restaurant was outstanding! Would highly recommend staying at hotel inc when in Tokyo! "
" Dry nice and central - service in restaurants somewhat questionable - lots get “lost in transaltion”
Early morning cycle tour really great and worth doing!!"
"I thought the environment and the staff were very friendly and cozy. It’s a short walk from any convenience store and Nishiki market is about a 15 to 20 minute walk.
The onsen is definitely a plus after a long day of walking. "
"The staff are so kind and helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms thoughtfully designed. When I return to Kyoto I will return to this hotel!"

"Very nice property in a convenient location. It is, however, near many nightclubs and the parties went on until 6 AM all four nights of our stay. While the noise did not keep us up (we were on the 6th floor), it was certainly noticeable. But otherwise a great place to stay and that didn’t really detract from our visit."
"I was absolutely surprised at how luxurious this hotel was. Beautiful spacious rooms, gorgeous views. Immaculate service! Provided all kinds of drinks, coffee, hot tea, matcha, etc in room. Provided toiletries and amenities. Spacious bathrooms with separate tub & shower. Amazing 10/10 stay."
"The location was perfect for us . We loved that we were within a few blocks to the Nishiki market, Takoyakushi-dōri and walking distance to Gion and the train station. You walked out of the building to lots of stores, restaurants and activity but our room backed onto a temple so was very quiet at night . The facility was clean and the reception very helpful. The room had linoleum not carpet easy cleaning. Room size was decent. We had a twin room and would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
"10/10!! I’m currently rebooking this hotel as we speak for January. I loved this stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful the room was very spacious and it was in the PERFECT location. I cannot wait to stay here again! "
"Good choices for dining. Spacious, comfortable room. Only criticism is to get rid of the Nestle coffee maker, it makes terrible coffee...electric kettles are better."
