"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, efficient, and welcoming. The front desk staff were professional, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of quickly. Check-out was just as seamless, which made the overall experience even more convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of options, everything was fresh, and the quality exceeded my expectations. "Stayed for 1 night for Uof T Eng Skule Nite at Hart House Theatre and after event at the Duke of York. Staff was accomodating (early checkin), room clean, nice towels, bed comfortable, heating good, low noise level (at least for my stay, although they provided ear protectors in bathroom). Easy access with proximity access cards. WiFi good for streaming, although it did drop out once for a short period. Short walk to UofT St. George Campus and St. George Subway station. Easy to get around downtown if you get a Presto transit card. I came in on VIA Rail at Union Station, so easy to travel between Union Station and the Madison. Friendly Pub where checkin is located is next door, and serves good breakfast and pub grub (beers on tap, wine liqor, etc.). It's not "fancy", but a a good *** hotel at a reasonable price in a convenient downtown location."
