The host was amazing! It was quiet, with the exception of a couple times but that was outside noise to be expected not anything to do with the B&B. It was a 7 min walk to get the bus to the airport. It was about an hr walk from the Vatican but it was good.

Las habitaciones muy limpias, acogedoras y con pocas pegas. El único inconveniente es la lejanía, sin embargo, a su alrededor hay buses y el metro que te deja en los sitios más importantes de roma.

Super miejsce! Polecam!

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w dzielnicy mieszkalnej - 5min do metra z którego w kilka minut jesteśmy w Watykanie, stacji Bus/pociąg Termini skad mamy transport na lotnisko. Pokój ładny, schludny, wszystko czego człowiek potrzebuje - wygodne łóżko, ładna toaleta z kompletem ręczników i suszarką. W dniu wyjazdu można zostawić bagaż na przechowanie. Gospodarz nie mówi po angielsku ale nie stanowiło większych problemów żeby się dogadać :)

Trata-se de um apartamento, localizado próximo a uma estação de metro, restaurante, supermercado e a 20 minutos a pé do Vaticano. É um quarto, no nosso caso com varanda, dentre outros 3 ou 4 localizados em um andar de um prédio residencial.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B per due notti. La struttura è carina, in un bel palazzo; la nostra era la camera quadrupla, dimensione sufficiente per 4 persone, bagno grande e una bella terrazza. Qualche appunto sulla pulizia generale, perchè c'era una tenda davvero sporca e un po' di "lanino" sotto i letti; perfetta la biancheria dei letti e il bagno. La cosa che più ci ha lasciato perplessi è la mancanza di personale nella struttura: in 3 giorni abbiamo visto solamente il ragazzo delle pulizie alla mattina, mai i titolari che comunque erano reperibili al cellulare. Magari un minimo di presenza in più, anche per un consiglio non sarebbe male... Nel complesso siamo stati bene soprattutto per la vicinanza alla metro e per il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglierei.

Da consigliare!

Il b&b dista 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata metro Baldo degli Ubaldi. Noi abbiamo utilizzato il navigatore per raggiungere la struttura. Si tratta di un appartamento al primo piano di un palazzo abitato da numerose famiglie in una zona piuttosto tranquilla. La stanza era pulita, accogliente e ben riscaldata. Bagno nuovo, televisore grande, presente anche il decoder SKY ma senza diritti di visione. Abbiamo notato subito che l’ambiente era più spazioso rispetto ad altri b&b. La colazione si fa in stanza perché manca un'area comune, basta accordarsi sull’orario. In ogni caso abbiamo gradito il servizio, la colazione era ricca e abbondante. Antistante la Chiesetta della Madonna del Riposo c’è la fermata del bus n.49 che conduce direttamente al Vaticano. Al numero civico 36 c’è un ristorante/pizzeria “Al vecchio galeone” dove si mangia discretamente. Noi abbiamo mangiato la pizza una sera dopo aver camminato in giro per Roma tutta la giornata. In ogni caso in zona non mancano ristoranti e pizzerie. Unico suggerimento: cercherei di rendere le stanze più allegre con un tocco di colore alle pareti.

Soddisfatti

A parte il fatto che appena arrivati non abbiamo trovato nessuno (e abbiamo risolto chiamando al numero indicato), e il primo giorno un tipo dello staff è entrato erroneamente in camera senza bussare, il resto del soggiorno è stato piacevole e la camera, per il prezzo pagato, era nuova grande e super confortevole.

Horrible service, bad location

My friend and I arrived on time to check-in to Sol Romae, but no one was at the front desk. The B&B seemed to be part of an apartment complex and didn't have any signage to lead us to the actual entrance. We wandered around the building and eventually found a locked door on the 2nd floor that said "Sol Romae." We received no instructions beforehand on where to go or what to do if there wasn't anyone there. We rang the bell several times and emailed to say we had arrived. Eventually a couple staying there happened to come and let us in the door, to a cramped hallway with a desk, some business cards, and a map of the city. And no receptionist. Frustrated after a long day of travel, my friend and I booked a new hotel, after waiting for over 45 minutes. As we left the building, a man lingering outside the building tried to stop us, but we ignored him. Turns out he was the one that was supposed to let us in! He followed us down the street, about 3-4 blocks, and stood in front of us so we could not pass him. He insisted that we come back and stay there. After we politely declined, he became very persistent and would not let us pass him. We explained that we had booked a new (non-refundable) hotel in the center of the city, but he still continued to pester us. Not only was the lack of information or personnel upon our arrival entirely inadequate, the harassment that followed was egregiously unprofessional.

Beware... Windows are thin and traffic begins around 5am. To access the room there is a key pad to enter your passcode. I thought this was a good idea until I heard the beeping from other rooms as people were coming and going... Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. The staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was nice... Love the cappuccino

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Abbiamo soggiornato in una quadrupla abbastanza comoda. Ottimo il servizio con la colazione in camera. Un po' rumorosa la strada al mattino (il b&b è al primo piano). Abbiamo lasciato l'auto in garage (da prenotare a parte €10,00) e raggiunto il centro con i mezzi pubblici.

Zimmer hat einige ''Gebrauchsspuren'' sowas ist wohl aber in Italien üblich, die deutsche Gründlichkeit sieht aber natürlich alles. Bed&Breakfast etwas außerhalb lieber mit der Metro oder mit dem Bus fahren. Bett relativ hart und nur lichtdurchlässige Vorhänge. Sonst war alles super. Sauber, komfortabel, Service war gut und alle sehr nett. Empfehlenswert !

Volevo dare più stelle questa volta... e si perché questo b&b si meriterebbe le stelle di un vero e proprio hotel.... il portiere una persona riservata e accomodante, chi mi ha fatto vedere la stanza veramente una persona alla mano.... poi il personale (che ho avuto a che fare solo x la colazione in camera) disponibile, puntuale e servizievole.... posizione strategica per i turisti, se vogliamo proprio trovare un capello nell'uovo be ' la temperatura del minibar era alta... ma conta zero rispetto alla perfezione di tutto il resto.... dovete assolutamente provare per capire Perchè tanto entusiasmo. ... aggiungo che sono di Roma e solo questo basta per capire che non ci si deve pensare troppo su... prenotate e starete bene e poi che prezzi concorrenziali. ... complimenti alla gestione ottimo!!!!
